Friday August 10
Today the Crebers left London to head for Surrey. This morning before packing our bags we went and had breakfast with Susy and the dogs, Star and Sweetie at a cafe in Brockwell Gardens, a park across the sreet from Susy's. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the park was beautiful and green. We ate breakfast outside and had lovely bacon, eggs, tomatoes, juice and all sorts of things. When we were waiting for our breakfast we had a little play and run around on the grass. After breakfast we walked back to Susy's through the park and Dad went to pick up the hire car while we helped Mum finish packing up our stuff.When Dad got back we packed the car and we said goodbye to Susy and the two dogs and three cats and headed down to Surrey.
We drove out of London and arrived in Aldershot a couple of hours later. We had a bit of a rest at our motel watching the Olympics on TV and doing some reading. After our rest we went for a drive to register Dad for his race, a 50 mile run through the forests of Surrey. Then we went out for dinner and tried to get an early night in. surrey looks really nice, with lots of green forests and walking tracks. Can't wait to explore a little more.
Our favourite part of the day was having breakfast with Susy and Star and Sweetie. We loved London and wish we could have had an extra couple of days to see a little more. There is so much to do.

Phew - I'm exhausted just reading about your London adventures! What a lovely time you've had - and there's still so much to come! Enjoy the next week; I look forward to reading all about it. But now I think I need a little lie down..... x
