21 July and 23 July
Bonjour - We arrived in Val d Europe at our hotel Adagio Disneyland
which is on the outskirts of Paris on the 20 July. It is a really great hotel
with a beautiful pool, free shuttle to Disneyland and next to an incredible
massive shopping centre. We went shopping for food. It was the most incredible
supermarket with really fresh and surprisingly not so expensive food. There
were heaps of clothing shops with lots and lots of soldes (sales) on. We’ll
come back and check out the shops soon.
Elodie was very impressed at the reception in our hotel there was girl at the desk whose name was Elodie! There are so many Elodies in France!

21 July – Warm and sunny. On the 21st we went to
Walt Disney Studios and then to Disneyland in the late afternoon. At Disney Studios we saw a few shows like stunt
shows and “Animagique” (Disney character show) and “Cinemagique”(a movie
featuring famous movies and characters/actors from the past and it was
interactive). We had a few rides like the Hollywood Twilight Zone Tower of
Terror, Flying Carpets and the Rockin Roller Coaster. We met the Disney
characters including Mickey Mouse and Tiga and Donald and Daisy and Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc.
Then we went to Disneyland next door. We wanted to do the
few rides we didn’t get to last time plus do some our favourites again. We had
heaps more rides including on the Indiana Jones Temple of Peril (which was closed
last time we were here), Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster, It’s a Small
World, Pirates of the Carribean, and Peter Pan. We stayed and watched the
Electric Light Parade with all the Disney characters on illuminated floats.
That was about 10pm. That was great. We caught the shuttle bus home after a
great day.
23 July – Hot and sunny. Mum, Elodie, Holly and Erin went to Disneyland again
today. We had rides on many rides including our favourites like Thunder
Mountain, Pirates of the Carribean, Buz Lightyear (that was great, it was a
space ship lazer gun ride - Elodie won), Indiana Jones, Captain Nemo’s
Nautilus, the Disney train ride, and a ride in a little boat ride through
Disney scenes (can’t recall what it was called) and a lot more. We also enjoyed
playing in Adventure Island. We met Daisy Duck and saw Peter Pan and Wendy, and
Pooh Bear but he was in a big kid crowd. We bought heaps of souvenirs including
Mickey and Minnie ears and presents for people back home. We got home about
8.30pm and went to the big Val d Europe shopping centre and got some dinner. We
had such fun in Paris Disneyland (and Disney Studios) over the 3 days that we
were there.
Au Revoir from Disneyland
Hi guys it's Paige,
ReplyDeleteJust thanking you for my post! I am enjoying your blog because you give us so much information about what you did. Again Disneyland looked awesome and you look like you are having so much fun!!! :D
QUESTION: What has been your favorite place so far? :D
From Paige Xxx:D
Wow, do you guys ever rest???...I suppose that would be a total waste of valuable time!!! I was a little concerned to see that Erin has grown another head...maybe too much icecream?? I hope she can exercise it off before she comes home and frightens the cat!! The photos are brilliant - Eli looks rather scared in one - maybe up a height?? Fancy someone else being called Elodie - and being able to buy things with your name on it. It was like that when your Mum and I went to Vancouver - and we got loads of stuff with her name on it, too!!!
ReplyDeleteI must say, I do like the ears...I think you should wear them for your first day back at school!!!
Nearly the UK !! enjoy enjoy enjoy! xxxxx
