Florence, Uffizi Museum

 

Hi everyone I miss you all a lot. Today we caught the bus Florence to see the Uffizi museum.

We saw millions of paintings, we saw 2 or 3 from Leonardo Da Vinci. We missed out on seeing Rubens because they were moving the paintings from that room down to room one. Michael Angelo had lots of paintings but one particular painting that seems to be very famous called 'Holy Family with the infant St John the Baptist' (Doni Tondo) was there. I find it amazing that it still hangs there since it was painted in 1506-1508 ..........
We got some gelato from a place that had a million flavours to choose from but I ended up having chocolate and limone(lemon).

We had McDonalds for lunch and we had dinner at 'Nyx', Impruneta which is a family run Italian pizzeria. Tomorrow we go to our new place so I am very excited.
